Our story

Built by installers,
for installers.

Cueva Control was born out of frustration. After installing AV systems in venues, theatres, and corporate spaces worldwide, we kept running into the same wall: control systems that were either priced for Fortune 500 companies, locked behind proprietary ecosystems, or simply not designed with the day-to-day reality of a professional integrator in mind.

So we built our own. Starting with the hardware: compact, rack-ready, PoE-powered. A software stack that runs on-device, scales to multi-venue deployments, and speaks the protocols your equipment already understands.

We're a small, focused team based in the Netherlands, and we ship everything ourselves. Every decision is made with one question in mind: does this make the installer's job easier?

2023

The problem identified

After years installing professional AV systems worldwide, it became clear: existing control systems were either overpriced, overcomplicated, or too closed. There had to be a better way.

2024

Cueva Control founded

The company was founded in Berkel en Rodenrijs with one goal: build the control system we always wished existed. Open, reliable, and made for the professional installer.

2025

RELO IO8 launches

Our first product: the RELO IO8. 8 inputs, 8 relays, PoE-powered, and running the full Cueva Control software stack. Deployed in venues across the Netherlands and beyond.

2026

Platform expands

The Cueva ecosystem grows: new accessories, the LUMO lighting range in development, and a software suite covering configuration, interface building, and end-user control.
